You can make a difference
Help us get boots on the ground, where they're needed most. Your funding can help us protect natural landscapes from the many threats they face from land clearing, invasive species and climate change.
Native animals need healthy habitat with large, connected corridors to allow them to move freely in response to changing conditions. We focus on the connectivity of protected areas through collaborations with neighbours, partners and Traditional Custodians.
Scientific research informs all of our work and we openly share knowledge to support conservation wins on a landscape scale.

Frequently asked questions
Our secure payment gateway charges a discounted rate of just 0.65% plus 26 cents per successful transaction.
See our annual Impact Report for details of how donations are spent, including accounts from several on-ground projects and detailed financial statements.
Yes. You’ll need a biller code and unique customer reference number (CRN). Existing supporters may find this on documentation from us, or contact us for these details.
We provide many options for our supporters to learn about the impact of their donations, ranging from informal check-in emails through to formal meetings and written reports.
Our Foundational Programs each have a philanthropy-specific report, which provides a broad overview on what we achieved and learnt in the previous year. You are welcome to a copy of these reports, even if your gift is of a general nature or you supported a different project or program. Please talk with our philanthropy team about your needs.
In addition to our rolling calendar of supporter events and webinars we host semi-regular events in large cities for our philanthropic supporters to meet key program staff, receive updates on the impact of their donations and to connect with like-minded individuals.
We accept donations in accordance with our Gift Acceptance Policy and may at times decline gifts from organisations or individuals not aligned with our values.
Yes, all gifts over $2 are tax deductible for Australian residents. If you're a US resident, you can make a tax deductible donation at Friends of Bush Heritage. UK residents can do so through the Wilderness Foundation.
We balance the need to minimise the environmental impact on our reserves against the importance of demonstrating the impact we're achieving with your support. Please let our team know if you're interested in visiting our reserves, and look at our visitations page for upcoming opportunities.
We consider donations of land on a case-by-case basis. If the land meets strict criteria, including being within our identified priority landscapes, we may accept the land as a new Bush Heritage reserve. Alternately, we may decide to sell the property and use the proceeds to support our conservation work. We'd be happy to discuss this further with you.
